The holiday celebrations are well underway in Queens City, and as we enter December, Charlotte’s list of festive activities continues to grow. The Regent at Eastover has detailed some favorites that may pique the interest of future residents!
The Charlotte Christmas Village
When completing your holiday shopping this year, add a dash of creativity and show the local community some love by visiting Charlotte’s Christmas Village. Avoid the hustle and bustle of the mall and instead visit The Charlotte Christmas Market, a local option for handmade and one-of-a-kind gifts. The market is inspired by the charm of European markets, offering festive food, drinks, crafts, unique finds, and more. The market runs through December right up to Dec 23rd, making it a great option for any last-minute gifts.
The Olde Mech Brewery Christmas Market
Celebrate the magic of the season with The Olde Mech Brewery! The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery’s Christmas Market is a truly one-of-a-kind experience in the Charlotte area. The Brewery transforms the Biergarten into a German-style Christmas Village, complete with traditional shopping huts, tons of lights, Gluhwein, music, hot cocoa, festive food, warm fire pits, and, of course, plenty of beer.
Festive baking, carol singing, and family get-togethers are just a few traditions you and yours may endure. Why not include a trip to the ballet in your annual festivities? From December 9 to December 23, visit Belk Theatre to see characters come to life in The Nutcracker! Check out the times and showings here.
Snow Tubing at the Light the Knights Festival
This holiday season, Truist field will feature a 6-lane,150-foot snow tubing hill. Come and have some winter fun with your friends and family from now – until January 6th. Purchase tickets here
There are many more seasonal events taking place in and around Charlotte this December! So, whatever you get up to this holiday season, The Regent at Eastover wishes you and yours a fun and festive Christmas period!
