This includes the annual Charlotte Film Festival, taking place at the end of the month!
Charlotte Film Festival is running from September 28 to October 2, 2022. The Festival honors relevant independent films from around the world. Encouraging filmmakers and audiences to join the mission of “discovering different’. The Festival features the work of up-and-coming and experienced filmmakers, which is sure to excite independent cinema enthusiasts.
The Charlotte Film Society oversees the Festival. The Society’s main goal is to introduce international films, both independent and classic, to Charlotte that might not otherwise have done so. Through the Saturday Night Cine Club, Back Alley Film Series, Charlotte Film Lab, as well as other screenings and events held throughout the year, the Society also works to promote and expand independent films.
